About Us

Information

The Norsemen Football Conference was started in 2017.  It was formed to establish clear boundaries for its members to effectively feed each school that the members represents and to foster great commaradarie and friendships through football.  We feel that we are the strongest middle school conference in the state and we play great competition from around the tri state area.  We have already had teams place well in the Middle School State Championships.  In 2018, two of our members made the final four of championship weekend.  In 2019 the Norsemen Conference really showed some muscle,  The 7th grade Union Raiders won the Kentucky State Championship!

Many of our games are played at the local high schools and also at the Boone Complex on Gridiron Lane in Florence.

If you will one day put the equipment on for Boone, Conner, Cooper, Highlands, Lexington Catholic, or Ryle you are both wanted and welcome in our conference.  Come play for the CUP!

Mission Statement

As a united conference, our vision is to provide each Middle School student athlete with the proper competition, instruction, and guidance to be the best football player that they can be.  We will passionately promote a competitive spirit but will always strive for exceptional sportsmanship and character on and off the field.  In addition we will foster a safe environment and encourage each player to be a leader of their school and community.

Safety

ALL of our conference coaches are USA Heads Up certified.  They are renewed yearly through classes, seminars and the latest safety techniques.
